At Dentistry for Health, a full mouth makeover improves your smile and overall health. What part of your body is most ignored in evaluating your health? Your teeth! However, the mouth is the gateway to your body—how your teeth, jaw and lips function impact your nutrition, sleep, risk of disease and more.

What Is a Full Mouth Reconstruction?

A full mouth makeover may seem daunting at first, but the treatments involved are all common in everyday dentistry. It depends on your situation and whether you’re getting a reconstruction because of cosmetic or functionality reasons, but here are some of the treatments used in full mouth reconstructions:

As you can see, these are familiar treatments, but when combined, they comprise the process for reconstructing your entire mouth.

The Full Mouth Reconstruction Process

Before you begin the full mouth makeover procedure, you’ll need a consultation and exam at our office. During the consult, Dr. Khan will go over the condition of your teeth, any issues with your gums, the status of your bite and cosmetics. The cosmetics include the tooth color, shape and size. This part of the process can include X-rays, photographs, impressions, 3D models and more.

Once a plan is in place for your perfect smile, we will then go over specifics with you, such as timeframe, a payment plan to fit your budget and the phases of treatment. It may seem overwhelming at first, but taking it one step at a time is key. After the process is complete, you’ll look younger, have full function of your teeth and be able to smile with confidence like never before.
